Translation

Translation is a geometric transformation in which every point (including lines and objects) is mapped to a point shifted by the same vector—the translation vector. In Euclidean space it is always an isomery, meaning it preserves all mutual relationships between the transformed objects. Fixed points exist only in the case of a translation by a zero vector.
