Two Points On The Same Half-Plane, Lying On The Perpendicular
Number of solutions: 2
GeoGebra construction
Steps
- We draw a line conntecting points A and B from the assignment. We mark the point of intersection of lines k and p from the assignment as point D.
- We draw a bisector of line segment AB, because we know that the centres of resulting circles will lie at the same distance from both points, so on the bisector of this line segment.
- We draw circle c with the centre in point A (or B) with a radius of the distance between points E and D. Bisectors of circle c and line segment AB are centres of the resulting circles, because they lie in the same distance from points A and B and line p.
- We draw centres of the resulting circles S1 and S2 and the circles k1 and k2 with radius of the distance between points E and D.
- Assignment and solution of the task "Line segment and two points that line on a perpendicular line".
